Trainings

Our Vancouver and Courtenay training sites offer multi-level training in the Hakomi Method. We focus on self study and Hakomi skills to help our students understand how to apply Hakomi in a variety of settings. Each training day is four hours of experiential learning using Hakomi exercises. Everyone is welcome to join the Hakomi experience.

Demos
Hakomi Demos

Hakomi Demos are designed for advanced students and certified practitioners who want to understand how Hakomi works in full sessions. Georgia will invite one of the participants to be a client and will do a full demonstration of a session. Teaching “Hakomi as Three Phases” allows natural pauses between phases for breakout room discussions about the method and at the end of the session, the space is open for questions and deeper discussions. Participation is limited to 12.

Hakomi Education Network Vancouver

As visitors to this sacred land, we offer respect and gratitude to the people who have come before us, and all stewards of this land: past present and future. We recognize that what is now known as Vancouver is the traditional unceded land of the Tsleil-waututh, Squamish and Musqueam peoples and is now also home to many diverse Indigenous, Inuit and Métis peoples. We are grateful to have the opportunity to be nourished on this land and we set our intention to be instruments of healing.
